In 2005, Dr. Thomas Madl Jr. opened the doors to Harrison Pediatric Dentistry with a clear mission: to ensure children in the Harrison community had continued access to compassionate, personalized dental care.
When a larger healthcare system stepped away from the area, Dr. Madl Jr. chose to stay. He had already built meaningful relationships with the children and families he served — and walking away wasn’t an option. Instead, he founded his own practice, one rooted in trust, consistency, and a deep commitment to the local community.
Nearly 20 years later, that legacy lives on.
At Harrison Pediatric Dentistry, our "We Care for the Child" philosophy means more than just treating teeth. It’s about caring for the whole child — meeting them where they are, listening closely, and supporting their emotional and physical well-being through every step of their dental journey. At our practice we:
Empower children through compassion and positivity
Collaborate closely with families
Adapt to the needs of every child and household
Create a supportive, fun, and safe environment
This philosophy is deeply woven into our team culture, and it’s something families feel from the moment they walk through our doors.
As the Harrison community continues to grow, so does our team. With new faces joining Dr. Madl Jr., including Dr. Vaughan and Dr. Bailey, we’re expanding our ability to serve even more families — while staying grounded in the same values that have always guided our care.
Dr. Madl remains an active, steady presence in the practice, continuing to care for patients and mentor the next generation of pediatric dental providers. His leadership helps ensure a seamless transition, so current and new families alike feel confident and cared for.
